Well, Christmas came and went, and I got my Evo4g (Cool gadget), as well as two little girls.
For now, let's just call them Kar and Kri. I know the names aren't original, but with two little girls with K names, what can you do?
As usual, it seems that the parental units love drugs more than their children. Oh well, their loss, our gain.
For some reason, the new kids are afraid of the following things:
1) Dogs
2) Water
3) Sleep. (not really, but at times they don't want to go to bed.)
This is in addition to Joe, who's still here. Maybe we'll get to keep these three and have our family.
We got the teenager, we got the teenager. It was a sweet and glorious victory. After telling her for two months that she wasn't going to get the only thing she wanted for Christmas, we surprised her with the phone she wanted. Tears of joy, and surprise and "We got the teenager, yes we did."
Work is going well. (Grin) I can walk into any wing and just look at people and they sit down and shut up. I can look up at cells and people shut doors, and I don't have to lift my voice to get things done.
This week, is in service, and I'll be going tomorrow thru Friday.
My contract is up in March, and I've been kicking around the idea of moving to Montford or Brownfield to a setting that's more my style, but I'll see what I can do.
It's official, I'm tired of nights. I miss my family, and want to spend more time with them, and with one of my sergeants and my lieutenant being reassigned, it seems like a good time.
